72 acres of bliss..Albufeira Portugal...the Pine Cliffs Resort....

Inspiring Location
Imagine....72 acres of inspiring landscape, set above a stunning cliff top overlooking breathtaking views of the Algarvian coastline and beyond to the deep blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean....Now Imagine...a husband and wife and their three children wondering aimlessly around the beaches and the pools and the many exquisite restaurants.....Yep, that is us!!!  No kidding....  Let me share some photos so you will believe me.

Our pool

Our beach restaurant
Trying to figure out...beach or pool...sangria or beer....shrimp or sardines...these have been the tough questions.  Does this really have to come to an end?
Zach... the Beach, the Ocean, the Waves combine to form a perfect Summer Day in Portugal

Watching my kids in the water may be my most favorite thing in the world to do!  Truly, I can stand at the tip of the breaking water, bury my feet in the hot sand while the grains adjust to my movement.  Gazing out into the water, watching the boys bodies peek out of the breaking waves, I close my eyes and listen and feel the water breaking at my feet.  This is what I see when I close my eyes at night and now I don't have to close my eyes because I get to see it here.  Yes,  I am in heaven!!

Max is he only 10?

Asher doing a little boogie boarding

Zach, catch that wave...

Zach, you may be ready for the big Hawaiian waves with a real surf board..  Get ready UCSB, I think we have a new up and coming Surfer Boy

Max, waiting for that perfect wave to come.

Zach and I worked for hours to build our own Fortress.  We have been inspired by all of our travels(especially, the Alahambra).  Zach could actually work for hours and hours building in the sand.  Could we possibly be seeing an up and coming architect?

my boys

wait...all my boys

Me and my boys!!

Asher, keep your eyes open...

Mommy and her boys enjoy the last few seconds before the sun goes down.  This is from one of the terraces off our 2 bedroom suite.  Yes this is triple the size of our New York apartment that we lived in for 3 years.

We loved the seafood risotto so much that we had to order it again.  But this time... room service on our Terrace.  Some white wine, caesar salad, and delicious Seafood Risotto.
What started out as a Romantic dinner for two, turned into a lovely dinner for 5.  At least tomorrow we will be on our way to Lisboa where we will have two rooms again.  What a great last evening in  Albufeira Portugal.
